Need to Know
Congratulations on confirming your attendance as a hacker at SwampHacks XI! To ensure our event runs smoothly, make sure you have looked through the checklist below.
- Join our Discord Server and be respectful within all channels
- Please remember that all SwampHacks XI attendees and staff are expected to adhere to the MLH Code of Conduct and SwampHacks XI Hacker Rules.
- Cannot Make it SwampHacks Anymore? Please fill out this form to allow our team to withdraw your acceptance and use the spot for our in-person waitlist day of.
- Hacking will begin following the opening ceremony, at 8 PM. Hackers can use Newell Hall to hack.
- Hackers need to check-in BEFORE 6:30 PM or fill out the late arrival form to have your spot saved. If you fill out the late arrival form, please be at the venue by 10 PM.
- Projects submitted to SwampHacks XI must be new! You cannot modify existing projects or submit projects that were started before hacking began. Projects that violate these rules will be disqualified.
- The Help Desks will be located in Newell Hall 3rd Floor and Little Hall (LIT 113). Staff will also be stationed at Little Hall (LIT 121) during workshops.
What to Bring
Essentials (EVERYONE)
- Student ID
- Laptop and Charger
- Phone and Charger Adapters (USB, USB-C, Lightning, etc.)
- Headphones (noise canceling is recommended if you have them!)
- Toiletries (if staying overnight, showers are available at Reitz Union!)
- Sweater/hoodie
- Comfy clothes
